Talking Romance

The SAWC had a Meet the Group session on Thursday and seven of our members represented SARA, keeping the small audience of four enthralled! :) It's always great to talk about writing and romance!

Here is a photo of us after the meeting (thanks to Leesa Bow). It was so nice to catch up and have a chat.

Virginia Taylor is happy to announce that she has contracted the single title historical romance, Starling to Kensington Books' Lyrical Press.  Starling is plain and poor but she has a work ethic second to none and something rare for a historical heroine, a sense of the ridiculous. She is not a typical historical romance heroine.  No details regarding publication date is yet to hand.

 

Trish Morey is happy to announce the sale of two books to Pan Macmillan Australia, the first entitled Stone Castles, a Womens' Fiction with a nod to RuRo (rural romance), to be published December 2014. The second TBA.

SARA News - The Day of the Debutantes!

It's okay.  You may leave the frothy white dress with matching gloves in the back of your wardrobe, and stay in your seat with your coffee and your chocky bicky.

Allow us here at SARA to parade a few of our debutantes before you.  You can't see it, but I'm wearing a very nice tux right now.  


VICTORIA PURMAN is cordially inviting you to the launch of her debut book from Harlequin, Nobody But Him.  We can't be certain Victoria will be wearing a frothy white confection, but good times are guaranteed!

SARA News - Claire Baxter runs rampant at the Apple iTunes Bookstore, and Kyoko Church launches MADE FOR HIRE

Greetings, and welcome to the newest instalment of the sassy SARA News!

In our last news post, you will have seen Claire Baxter's newest release from Random Romance, Anybody But Him, making headlines over at the Apple iTunes bookstore.

Gwen is the middle Selwood sister. In More Than Just Pretend she's been through a bitter divorce and desperately wants to create a stable home for her teenage daughter Becky who's in the final, difficult years of school.

Returning to live near her sisters in their parents' old house, Gwen finds that the house needs fixing up, and Spencer the sexy builder is just the man to do it.
